Over the past several weeks I have got many requests from my loyal visitors for me to do a detailed and thorough review of Contena.

To be quite honest with you guys today, I have heard of this freelancing training academy a while back from one of my close internet marketing buddies and I had planned on reviewing it when I found the time.

Well, guess what?

I had the guy who takes care of their marketing contact me personally and ask me if I would write up a review of this program and share it with my website visitors.

I thought, sure, why not?

I already had plans to do this anyway so this set things in motion for me.

Within the following review, I’ll be giving you guys a sneak peek inside this massive freelancing training academy and showing you everything they have to offer.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a freelancer looking to score your next writing gig, or if you’re interested in learning how to build your own freelancing business.

Contena has the tools that will help you achieve all of this + so much more!!

If you have ever shared any type of interest in writing for others and getting paid top dollar, then I encourage you to stick around and continue reading this review till the end.

 What Exactly Is Contena?

Contena is an online freelancing training academy/ freelance job search board that helps connect writers with some of the best & highest paying remote jobs available in the online space.

This freelance training platform officially launched on Oct 13th (About 2 weeks ago) and within this short amount of time, they have already started to gain traction.

Like I said earlier, Contena caters to anyone who has a desire to start up their own freelancing business.

Their step by step training literally takes you by the hand and walks you through how to do all of this.

Not only do they train you, but they also provide you with your own personal coach that will share some advanced marketing strategies for you to attract high-quality clients.

Pretty sweet if you ask me, wouldn’t you guys agree?

They also have a pretty extensive database of some of the best remote companies to work for along with a variety of filters that you can utilize to optimize your search to your liking.

I’ll be going more into detail on how all of this works next, so continue reading for all the juicy details!!

Who Would Benefit From Contena The Most?

As you can probably tell already, this is geared more towards aspiring writers and freelance authors looking to either get started in this industry or take their career to the next level & beyond.

This is also ideal for entrepreneurs as well and anyone looking to cash in and get paid up to $500 or more for each article you write according to the companies specifications.

Also, if you’re the type of person who can’t get out and work a 9-5 job and you need to find a good paying job to do from home, you’ll want to check into this and see if it’s something you could see yourself doing.

How Does It Work?

Depending on what your intentions are when joining will determine how your contena experience plays out for you.

If you’re a freelance writer looking for your next gig then navigate your mouse to the writing jobs tab at the top of your screen.

Scroll down to view all the available jobs along with details on each one.

This includes things like:

  • Job Category
  • Job Title & Company
  • Quality Score
  • Job Type
  • Date Added

It doesn’t matter if you’re interested in starting your freelancing career or taking it to the next level, you’ll find all of this and more inside the member’s area.

There are also a plethora of filters that you can apply to either broaden or narrow your search to your liking.

To get a visual of what I’m talking about, check out the screenshot that I’ve captured for you guys below!!

Contena job board

As you see above they use a quality score metric that measures the quality of each gig and some even include how much you’ll make with each job.

They also have content submissions where various companies have posted writing jobs that pay up to $300 per article.

Could you imagine earning $300 to write 1 article?

Well, this is definitely possible and as I was browsing around in the back office, I found jobs that paid even more than that.

Here’s a sneak peek at just a few of the massive jobs that are waiting for you in submissions below!!

Obviously, you’ll need to meet the qualifications listed for each job before applying for it and apply for the one you’re most qualified for.

There are also step by step training that will walk you through this as well.

Training, Tools, &  Coaching All In One Place

One of the things that really stood out to me as I was doing my research for this review is that everything you need to launch your very own freelancing business is included in your membership fee.

Contena Academy is where you’ll need to navigate your mouse to start the training and access your 9 video modules.

For me, a coach is what sealed the deal and part of the reason why I gave this program such a high rating.

Your coach will also be there to help you out and answer any questions that come up while you’re going through the training.

Here’s a preview of the first 3 training courses that you’ll gain access to when you decide to become a member.

As you continue to go through the training you’ll unlock achievements and have the ability to unlock badges and level up your freelancing skills.

Here are a few additional modules that you’ll also gain access to if you would decide to join below!!

Contena pitch guide

How Much Is All Of This Going To Cost You?

They currently have 2 memberships that start at $99/ month and go up from there.

  • Gold membership- 6 monthly payments of $99 for 1-year access
  • Platinum membership- 6 monthly payments of $199 for 2 years access

If you’re looking to save money on your membership they have a yearly full payment option.

  • $497- Gold Yearly Full Payment
  • $997- Platinum Yearly Full Payment

For the gold membership, you’ll save $97 by taking the full payment option and nearly $200 if you decide to go platinum.

Also if you really think about it, you could nearly make your cost of membership back after writing your first article.

Depending on which writing gigs you apply for, you could start profiting after your 2 or 3rd article.

Anything after that would be 100% pure profit for you.

I’m not sure about you guys, but to me, I think that’s pretty sweet.

Wouldn’t you guys agree?

For some of you this may sound pricey but when you think about everything you get here it’s a small price to pay for everything you’ll gain access to in the member’s area.

Where else can you learn how to launch your very own freelancing business that shows you how to attract high paying clients and your own personal coach for under $500 a year?

I’ll wait while you guys think of an answer!!

I know from personal experience that coaching can get really expensive and you could pay as much as $500 an hour for coaching alone.

Not to mention the added cost of training which could also get pretty expensive as well.

How Much Money Can You Earn Here?

As you saw in the screenshots I provided you guys with above you can earn $300 an article with some paying more than that.

There are also contracting jobs where you can earn a monthly salary working for the company.

Some of these started out at $1,000 and up and this is another great way for you to build an additional income stream from this as well.

So how much could you earn in 1 week working only a couple days?

Let’s do the math, OK?

Depending on how long it takes you to write an article will determine your pay per hour.

Let’s say you wrote 3 articles a week.

One pays $300 and the other 2 pay $150 a piece.

That’s $600 a week!!

My Closing Thoughts On Contena

If you’re any type of aspiring freelance writer that’s looking to break into the industry and gain exposure to some of the highest paying gigs online you should definitely check into this program and see what they can do for you.

Another thing that I think is worth mentioning is that you can d/l worksheets, checklists, and templates from each lesson for you to study as well.

Like I said earlier, it doesn’t matter whether you’re looking to launch a full-blown freelancing business or just looking to score some decent paying writing jobs, Contena has the training, tools, and personal coaching to make this a reality for you.

However, if you’re just starting out in the freelancing world and you’re on a limited budget, perhaps Contena wouldn’t be a good fit for you at this particular point in time.

Whatever your case may be, I really hope this review has helped you guys out and given you an inside look at what you’ll be doing if you would decide to join.

Still got questions that I failed to cover in this review?

Leave them for me in the comments below!!

I am unemployed and can’t afford $99 a month, I don’t get that a week at the moment. Is there something for people like me? Say I write something and 20% gets taken for the company? That’s a lot of money.

      Hi Jasmin,
$99 a month can be pretty steep for someone who is just starting out especially if you’re unemployed right now. I can totally relate to how you must feel cause I was in your shoes about 6 years ago.

There is something for everyone in the online world Jasmin. To the best of my knowledge, Contena doesn’t take a percentage of your earnings like other freelance companies do. This isn’t just a job board, it’s a complete freelance training academy that comes with your very own coach.

However, If I was to recommend a lower cost alternative to Contena, it would be Wealthy Affiliate.

Instead of learning how to build a writing business you’ll be learning how to build a business based on a hobby or interest of yours. This is where I got my start online and I have built many successful businesses thanks to their outstanding training and help and support.

You can actually get started for free and upgrade to the premium plan when you’re ready to take things to the next level. Click here to read more about them and let me know if you have any questions.

      Cheers

Contena is a scam. I wrote an indebt review about the site and Kevin immediately threatened with legal action. Negative reviews about Contena are not allowed to be published. Those who do get threatened.

Hi Lee and thanks for stopping by and sharing your opinions on Contena here with everyone else today.

I have personally used this writing platform for myself and I have many friends that are currently using it right now so I know that this is in no way a scam.

Since you have written an in-depth review of this platform then I would assume that you have used it for yourself and I would love to hear some facts you have to back up such bold claims about this being a scam.

Whenever you write a negative review of any type of product( No matter what it is) you can expect to receive threats from the owner and backlash of some kind.

This doesn’t necessarily mean its a scam and people tend to throw this word around far too much in the online world.
